I’m Lucy Holloway, a young person trying to make a career in the scuba diving industry. Follow along as I share my journey as well as some tips and tricks to help you along your diving career
The Backstory
The current trajectory of my life was not something I had planned from a young age. Rather, a culmination of many events and choices that led me to the path I’m on. The backstory of this journey goes right back to my childhood, the family around me, and the hobbies I had. Not just the subjects I studied at school. I’m happy to share little cutscenes of my life that illustrate who I am today.
The Adventure
I started on the road of a professional in the world of scuba in the Autumn of 2022. So much has happened since that journey began. So many lessons learned, so many skills gained. There has been struggle and success (honestly, a lot more struggle). But the journey is ongoing and the adventures exciting. I’m happy to share and bring a few folks along for the ride
The Quests
The journey or the destination? For me, it’s a question of what next? I have no destination in mind. Maybe I’ll find one along the way. What I do have, is goals to fulfil to climb the ladder and further my horizons. From boating to diving, writing to filming, I’ve still got a lot to learn and if people are interested, I’d be happy to show the way so that other young women might feel empowered to follow.
